Farming systems are now facing serious difficulties due to salinity which is mostly caused by climate change. A variety of methods which incorporate mungbean, are in use to reduce the effects of salinity and increase plant growth, crop yields and make soils richer by fixing nitrogen. Separately and together, identified Pseudomonas bacterial and Trichoderma fungal strains were used in this research to investigate their impact on mungbean growing under saline conditions. Pot experiments were carried out in nature at salinities of 1.4 dS m-1 and 5.0 dS m-1, following a random arrangement of treatments. Results from the data indicate that salinity stress affects the development, nodulation and production of mungbeans. These different plant parts increased under salinity stress when Pseudomonas and Trichoderma were used, both singly and together, in mungbean. In this study, using Pseudomonas and Trichoderma together led to improved growth, more nodules and greater grain output under salt conditions.
