Peer Review Policy

Peer Review Policy

Agricultural Research Reports utilizes an advanced online system for article submission, review, and tracking to maintain high standards and ensure an efficient review process. The journal is committed to a timely peer-review period of approximately 4-6 weeks, followed by the publication of accepted research articles.

Manuscripts submitted to Agricultural Research Reports undergo a thorough peer-review process and must meet the journal's standards for quality and relevance. Submissions should demonstrate a meaningful contribution to the fields of agriculture, food science, and related disciplines. While the contribution may vary in scope, its significance must be clear, as this forms the foundation for evaluation by our reviewers and editors.

After initial screening, each manuscript is assessed by the Editor-In-Chief, who determines its suitability for peer review. Selected manuscripts are then sent to at least two subject experts for evaluation through a single-blind review process. The corresponding author is notified of the editorial decision via email. Manuscripts that are not accepted in the initial round may be revised and resubmitted.

Authors submitting revisions are required to include a detailed, point-by-point response addressing reviewers' comments and explaining the changes made. Revised manuscripts may be reassessed by the original reviewers or assigned to new experts.

Once all revisions and editorial concerns are addressed, the manuscript is formally accepted for publication. Authors are provided with proofs for final review, limited to correcting typographical errors. All changes are reviewed and approved by the production team. The journal reserves the right to make final decisions regarding formatting, style, and figure adjustments to ensure consistency and clarity in publication.
